EO PLACE GUIDE

Keep and share your screenshots

Choose between a spot contribution and an image-maker project, and check the result before sharing.

Distinguish location examples from finished designs

Contribute a photo to SS SPOT when it helps explain the location. Use the image maker for text, frames, or multi-image designs. Choose a clear view of the scenery for a location example.

Choose a format in the image maker

Start with a character card, instant photo, collage, or another format. The image maker works without registration. Use its preview to adjust photo placement and the amount of text.

Reuse a photo you have contributed

If you are logged in and have contributed SS SPOT photos, supported makers also let you choose from your own past contributions. This is not permission to reuse other contributors' images. You can also choose your original local file.

Check the design at a smaller size

Check that faces and important scenery are not cropped out and text is readable without being too long. Even on desktop, consider how it will look on a phone. Keep your original image separately.

Review visible information before sharing

Check for names, chat, personal information, and other players in the frame. For event photos, also check the organizer's photo and sharing policy. Review what is visible before publishing the result.
