Posting guide

Places you can list

• Player-run bars, taverns, cafés, and similar venues
• Glamour and mannequin shops
• Future supported categories such as photo studios and event spaces that can be visited in FFXIV

List a place you operate yourself, or one whose operator has given you permission to list it.

Choosing photos

Recommended photos

• Photos that show the atmosphere, size, and distinctive features of the interior or garden
• A first photo that gives guests a clear overall impression of the venue
• Photos with brightness and color adjusted only enough to remain easy to view
• Photos published with permission when other players appear in them

Photos to avoid

• Extreme close-ups where the venue is barely visible
• Heavy blur, color changes, or compositing that makes the in-game scene unclear
• Unrelated advertising or large text covering most of the image
• Reposted images, real-world personal information, or private chat shown without permission

You can upload JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Each file must be 10 MB or smaller, with up to 10 photos per venue. Uploaded images are converted to WebP.

Writing venue information

• Check the Data Center, World, housing district, ward, plot, and room number.
• Choose the time zone used in your venue announcements, then enter opening days and times.
• Choose “Open 24 hours” for glamour shops and other venues that can be visited all day.
• Make pricing clear before a visit, such as free, tips appreciated, or priced per item.
• Accurately choose whether RP is required, optional, or not used, and whether beginners, visitors, and screenshots are welcome.
• Use tags that describe the atmosphere or experience, such as Japanese, gothic, chat, or performance.
• Update the visibility or address if the venue closes or moves.

Listing glamour items

• Enter the item name, price in in-game gil, and current stock status accurately.
• Add job, required level, and gender restrictions where relevant.
• Use an image you prepared that clearly shows the item.
• Update stock or remove the item when it sells out or is replaced.

EO PLACE may not be used for real-money sales, RMT, or inappropriate solicitation to external services.

Visibility options

• Public: Anyone can find it in search, on profiles, or through its URL.
• Unlisted: It does not appear in search, but anyone with the URL can view it.
• Followers only: Only the owner and approved followers can view it.
• Draft: Only the owner can view it from the dashboard.

FFXIV’s material usage rules treat access-restricted posts as material published on the internet. Follow the FINAL FANTASY XIV Materials Usage License regardless of the visibility setting.

Content you may not post

• Content unrelated to FFXIV or places that can be visited
• Images, writing, or creations used without the rights holder’s permission
• Defamation, discrimination, harassment, or excessively sexual or violent content
• Fraud, RMT, or offering in-game services for real money
• Material that violates FFXIV’s material usage rules, including game data altered through external tools
• Content that could be mistaken for official information from EO PLACE or SQUARE ENIX

You may list venue fees and mannequin prices charged in in-game gil, but make the details clear and follow FFXIV’s rules.

Review and removal

EO PLACE may hide, request changes to, or remove content that does not follow this guide or the Terms of Service, contains outdated and misleading information, or is subject to a rights-holder complaint. If you are unsure, contact us through the inquiry form before publishing.
