How to read FFXIV housing addresses
A housing address narrows down a location step by step. Reading each part in order makes a venue much easier to find.
Address order
- Data center
- World
- Residential district
- Ward
- Plot
- Apartment building and room, or private chamber when required
Residential districts
Addresses may list Mist, the Lavender Beds, the Goblet, Shirogane, or Empyreum. The same district name on a different World or ward is a different location.
Plots and rooms
Standalone estates use a ward and plot. Apartments need a building and room number. A private chamber also needs the estate plot before its chamber number.
A quick checklist
- Confirm the data center and World first
- Check the ward shown in game
- Copy the address for reference while travelling
- Check the last update and original announcement for relocations
